It locks at kickoff
The lock is enforced by the server clock. After that, no one can change their pick.
Points get written
The result is based on normal time. A draw is still a valid pick in knockout rounds — extra time doesn't change the result.
No one can see anyone else's pick in advance
This isn't a convenience — it's a rule of the game. Picks stay hidden until the match locks; after that, you can see what your group picked.
Before the lock
Only you can see your pick. No one in the group — not even whoever created it — can see it.
After the lock
Everyone's pick opens up within the group. The overall leaderboard only ever shows points.
Frequently asked questions
Is there money or a prize?+
No. No entry fee, no prize — this is a knowledge game, not a betting slip. Money never enters the picture.
How are points calculated?+
Every outcome of every match has a point value, which appears once the match kicks off. A wrong pick is worth 0; a correct one is worth that outcome's point value. Everyone who picks the same result gets the same points.
Do extra time and penalties count?+
No. The result is based on normal time (90 minutes plus stoppage time). A draw is still a valid pick in knockout rounds too.
The season's already started — am I too late?+
No. The overall leaderboard runs on total points, but every match day has its own champion — join this week and you can still win this week's race.
Do I need to create a password?+
No. You type your email, and we send you a one-time sign-in link. There's no password stored anywhere.
